LETV’s focus in programming is on documentary. Living Earth Television will give people everywhere an opportunity to meet their neighbors, a block away or half a world away. LETV brings positive and realistic programming to communities and individuals across the globe, and shows real and concrete examples of solutions to the common challenges faced by people everywhere.
Living Earth Television’s programming will be introduced in two phases. Initially, beginning in 2006, we will offer series of programs to existing public broadcasters, both in the USA and around the world. In 2008. we plan to launch a new channel – a global, noncommercial channel for sharing programs made all over the world with a worldwide audience.
Living Earth Television will not promote any specific agenda - social, economic, religious, political or any other. Instead it has a solid commitment to programs that are both realistic and constructive, that depict the humanity, dignity and resourcefulness of people of all cultures. Programs selected will promote tolerance and understanding among peoples of different backgrounds and traditions; they will also be a means of educating both individuals and communities about solutions to problems being addressed successfully in other parts of the world.
